If there's absolutely no light, then no ball can be seen.

We see an object only when it reflects light incident on it.

If there's no light, then there's no question of seeing them.


Now if there's even some light present, then it will be better reflected by the white ball compared to the black ball.

So, of there is at least some light present, then white ball can be seen better.
