Biomolecule that is found in acid soluble fraction or filtrate is Adenosine.

  • When chemical analysis is performed, two fractions of biomolecules are obtained- one is the filtrate or the acid soluble pool and the other is the retentate or the acid insoluble pool.
  • Acid soluble fraction contains biomicromolecules - amino acids, simple sugars and nucleotides. While the acid insoluble pool consists of biomacromolecules- polysaccharides, proteins and nucleic acids.
  • Among the given molecules, RNA is a nucleic acid, glycogen is a polysaccharide, while RUBISCO is an enzyme of high molecular weight.
  • Hence, Adenosine which is a simple sugar will be found in the filtrate.
