(i) Red blood cells act as the transporters of oxygen and carbon dioxide.
Red blood cells carry oxygen combined with them from the heart to other parts of the body whereas from other parts of the body they carry carbon dioxide with them.
(ii) White blood cells are the enemies of germs or foreign bodies that enter into our body.
White blood cells are also referred to as leucoplasts and these are part of the immune system of our body and these kill any foreign body which enters in our body. These also help in stopping the blood flow whenever we get any cut.
