You must write with blue ball pen. In your board examinations.

Black ink is restricted.

Blue gel pens are not allowed at all.

Ball pen provides smooth flow over answer sheet and your speed will be higher. in comparison to gel pens .

I would prefer 'butterflow blue ball pen : for you.

I don't know about board exam. due to I am in 6th class. but in exam I used gel pen.
