Being my school’s third topper this year with 97.2%, I think I am well experienced to answer this question.
I remember in the initial months of class 10 I used to waste so many hours searching for things like class topper’s timetable, topper booklist , topper interviews and what not.
Like most of the students, I also had immense enthusiasm while beginning class 10. Unfortunately, I drained all of it by searching such useless things.
Now, coming to your question, i would highly recommend studying just NCERT books. They really are the best. After fully understanding each chapter just solve the questions in between and at the end of the chapters. The questions help to analyse your understanding of the concepts really well. You can also make notes in your own words with the books closed and then fill in the things you forgot with any other colour pen, so that you now know the concepts which need even more revision and clarity. Just keep revising and practice a lot of sample papers and previous year questions of all subjects prior to your examinations.
Even though I failed to study this way throughout the year but even after studying in this manner for about one and a half months prior to the board examinations I did pretty well.
Just imagine how well you would do following this throughout the year or from just now wherever you might be.I really am convinced that this is the best method (did I forget to mention, without coaching) to ace your exams.
NO ONE can STOP you from ACING THE BOARD EXAMINATIONS :)
