I would suggest you to refer this book for more efficient study than the first book which you have mentioned.

Well, both the books, all together, are best to clear your conceptual doubts but I found Feynman lectures on Physics a bit high level....I mean its too complex for highschool students (India) but a perfect choice for graduation students. While HCV as we all know is a must to have for competitive exams like JEE and NEET...

So you can go for Feynman if you are mentally prepared for going through some perplexing concepts (Just my opinion) while you can read hc verma if you are a high schooler interested in building up your base for higher level of understanding.....
