It depends on the board u r studying.
CBSE- R.S Agarwal because of the number of questions ranging from lower to higher level that will not only clear your concept but also makes u practice each and every question thoroughly.
R.D Sarma- Tons of questions related to all concepts. This is a more of a competition oriented book which will help making your base for the IIT and all if u want to start your preparations from as early as class 9th
NCERT- Many of the questions come directly from this ncert. This is considered to be the base of cbse. It's not that interesting though.
ICSE- Concise Mathematics by Selina Publishers. This is the book I studied in ICSE and no book clears the theory and concept such as this one. There was no question which I couldn't solve after I completed this book.
M.L Agarwal- Many ICSE schools follow this one. The number of questions are much more than other books which gives quite a practice and they are well arranged in different exercises so that u don't feel burdened.
Note- Keep the guide book(solved questions) of whichever book u r studying. Helps a lot when nobody is around to clear your doubts.
