Answer:

A circuit composed solely of components connected in series is known as a series circuit; likewise, one connected completely in parallel, that is, each device is placed in its own separate branch, is known as a parallel circuit. In a serially connected circuit, if one bulb fuses off, the connection is cut and the current through the circuit becomes zero and hence no bulbs glow in that circuit. Whereas in a parallelly connected circuit, each bulb takes a different path and the current continues to flow and the remaining bulbs continue to glow with the same brightness.

Therefore, bulbs do not glow in the serial circuit, but continues to glow in the parallel circuit with same brightness.
