The weighttage is not confirmed According to chapters but confirmed by subjects like in social science
Politics = 20 marks
History = 20 marks
Geography = 20 marks
Economics = 20 marks

So is there any chapter that's is not as important then
you have to study all chapters, all are equally important...... but this year some chapters are removed, chapter 2 in Geography and chapter 5 in politics

according to the chapter waitage our school gave us
5 mark questions will be coming from
1) nationalism in india
2) age of industrialization
3) manufacturing industries
4) lifelines of national economy
5) gender religion and caste
6) political parties
7) sectors of indian economy
im pretty sure this is correct for confirmation u can check 2018 cbse sample paper for social it is of the same blue print
there are 7, 5 mark questions and it will be coming from these chapter!
