Sulphur and carbon disulphide do not form a uniform composition and the properties of the mixture are not same throughout.

Therefore, it forms a heterogeneous composition.

Moreover, it shows Tyndall effect, because in water sulphur remains suspended whereas carbon disulphide settles down as a layer at the bottom.
