thallus organisation, presence of seeds , habit and habitat, in some cases inflorescence (onion - umbellate inflorescence) vegetative as well as reproductive parts are used for classification. reproductive parts like stamens number are used for the Linnaeus classification (sexual system of classification) and both reproductive and vegetative parts are used for classification in natural system of classification (Bentham and hooker classification)
