The cyclone that affected Tamil Nadu is Vardah
On the 12th of December, a terrible and fierce cyclonic Storm named Vardah landed over the eastern coast of India in the state of Tamil Nadu which caused prolonged rainfall in the states of South India from 13 th December onwards. But Vardah subsided soon due to land interactions.
