Answer 1::

  • To measure current we have to use ammeter which is always connected in series connection with the circuit.

  • To measure potential difference, we have to use voltmeter. It is always connected in parallel connection.

  • To detect current, we have to use galvanometer. It detects even the smallest current induced in the coil.

Answer 2::

Explanation:-

In this question, concept of ohm's law is used. We are given 3 resistors which are connected in parallel connection. The current flowing through conductor is given to be 10 ampere and we are asked to find voltage of the battery connected in circuit. To find the voltage, firstly we have to find equivalent resistance and then by Applying ohm's Law, we will get the value of voltage.

Solution:-

Resistance in parallel connection can be expressed as:

\leadsto\boxed{\sf \dfrac{1}{R}=\dfrac{1}{R_1}+\dfrac{1}{R_2}+\dfrac{1}{R_3}\dots}

Substituting values of resistance::

\sf\leadsto \dfrac{1}{R}=\dfrac{1}{1\Omega}+\dfrac{1}{1\Omega}+\dfrac{1}{1\Omega}

\sf \leadsto\dfrac{1}{R}=\dfrac{1+1+1}{1\Omega}

\sf \leadsto\dfrac{1}{R}=\dfrac{3}{1\Omega}

By cross multiplication, we get:

\sf\leadsto R=3\Omega

By Applying ohm's Law:

⇒ V=IR

⇒ V=10Amp(3Ω)

⇒ V=30volts

So the required voltage is 30 volts.
