Both books are amazing for physics aspirants .
if you are talking about CBSE class 11th then SL Arora is better because the level of SL Arora is perfect for CBSE exams .
Resnick Halliday is quite hard and it's level is different from CBSE as there are many hard questions . Resnick Halliday is a book for competition i.e Olympiads .
Both books have good explanation and questions but ' Halliday ' is a higher level book.
If you have completed NCERT and SL Arora then you can start solving Halliday .
Some books that useful for CBSE :-
1 ) NCERT 11th ( Physics )
2.) HC Verma ( part 1 )
3.) DC Pandey ( Mechanics ,Kinematics....)
These books are also very helpful in CBSE exams and other .
Physics requires Understanding and your concepts should be Perfect and then you can easily solve any type of question .
Practise a lot of questions from many books and do variety of questions .
