which easier to hold in hand a kulhar (earthen pot ) or a glass tumbler ? why?

Earthen pot is easy to hold as it contains several pores in it which will cause more friction and resist slippery whereas in a glass tumbler there are no pore so there is a chance of slipping from our hands..
