both sodium and magnesium have the same atomic radius as atomic radius depends on the distance between the nucleus and the outermost shell electron. since sodium atomic number is 11 and magnesium atomic number is 12 the have just in electron difference. for example if we take sodium and pottasium on who has big atomic radius then it would be pottasium as pottasium is one shell ahead the sodium.
