The following emotions are emphasized through the author’s use of first person point of view which is "'Arrested?' I said in astonishment. 'What do you mean?'”,
"I was bewildered. 'What are you talking about? A dog can’t be arrested.'”, and “'Well, you certainly took me in,'” I said. “Arrested indeed!'”. My answer is correct because he said the first one in astonishment. The second one he was bewildered and surprised. The third one because he said it ending with an exclamation point.
