Monoecious plants have unisexual reproductive units such as flowers or other functionally equivalent reproductive organs of both female and male sexes on a single plant. This is opposite to Dioecious plants.

We have bisexual flowers (or other functionally equivalent reproductive organ) that contain both male and female parts such as stamens and pistil.

Note: Monoecious plants; bisexual flowers not bisexual plants .
