I guess sushi is the food that is taste less and all over the world like it as sushi is originated from China, the country who has the maximum population. It is certain that people from China would travel around the World for many different reasons and may even get citizenship, so with the people travelling the reciepe  is also travelling. Even adventureous people also try it for fun and for a new experience. So Sushi is not a food to be crossed out.
