Frictional force acts oppostie to motion.

Frictional force is a force which acts in an opposite direction to motion.

For example :when a ball rolls the friction acts opposite to the movement of the ball and opposite to the direction the ball is moving.

Friction is also a force which tends to bring that body at rest.

It retards the body.

More the mass of the body more is the friction.

More the point of contact of the body more is the fiction.
