Hi there!

Carbon dioxide is responsible for GreenHouse Effect.
The two main gases responsible for the greenhouse effect are :

♦ Water vapour, H_{2}O

♦ Carbon dioxide, CO_2

Carbon dioxide is the leading culprit of greenhouse gas.
but, Carbon dioxide only contributes over half of the atmospheric pollution creating climate change.

Hope it helps!
