The photon with blue light would have more energy than photon with red light, as there's inverse relationship between energy and wavelength.

the photon with blue light has less wavelength than the red one.

hope it would be helpful:-)

Answer:

A photon of blue light will have more energy as compared to the photon of red light.

Explanation:

Photons are the small packets of energy that fall on any surface through sunlight. The visible light forms a spectrum which has seven colours that are violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red.

According to Max Planck's quantum theory, the energy of a photon is inversely proportional to its wavelength.

So, the blue light (~400nm) has a shorter wavelength and greater frequency as compared to red light (~700nm). Therefore, the blue light photons have greater frequency and hence it would have a greater amount of energy as compared to red light.
