could you explain
when the resistances are connected in parallel the current flowing in the resistances are divided into the branch that they are connected. hence resistant offer to the flow of current is low, but when the resistances are connected in series the same amount of current flowing in the resistances. Hence when the current is large the resistant offer is also large
