The Lok Sabha has certain powers that make it more powerful than the Rajya Sabha. Motions of no confidence against the government can be introduced and passed in the Lok Sabha. Lok Sabha is more powerful than Rajya Sabha because:

I) It have more members than that of Rajya Sabha.

II) Any Ordinary law needs to be passed by both the houses, but if there is any difference between the two houses, the final decision is taken in a joint session of both the houses
