The incident shown in the given picture is Noise Pollution.

Noise pollution is caused due to the excessive sound that is made by the industrial sectors, cars and motorcycles in traffic, musical systems used on any occasion, and many more.

The measures that an individual must take to reduce noise pollution are:

  • We should not play music in high volume and must use earphones so that no one is disturbed.
  • Some appliances when in use cause unwanted noise we must practice to switch them off when not in use.
  • There is a certain frequency up to which a sound should reach, increasing the sound above that frequency must be avoided.
  • When there is noise in the locality due to some occasion, close the windows and doors to reduce the noise.
