  • World Bank provide Rs. 600 Crores loan to Increase the agricultural productivity in the Villages or some selected gram panchayats of HImachal Pradesh state.

  • The final maturity period of the Rs 600-crore loan is 14.5 years, including a  5 year grace period.

  • Himachal Pradesh will implement the Agricultural Productivity Project in 428 gram panchayats in 10 districts. It will provide benefit to the more than 4 lakhs small farmers, women, and rural community.
