sugar industry. it is because, south has a very fertile soil which helps in the cultivation of sugarcane

Hey!

The sugar industry has a tendency to migrate towards the south because :-

1. The cane produced in the south is of better quality than the one in North.

2. New crushing devices and machinery are introduced in the South.

3. In the South  there are excellent transport facilities.

4. In South the climate is favorable for growing sugar.
