It is one of the most important innovation of the agricultural revolution. It is a practice of growing a series of different types of crops in the same area. It helps restore plant's nutrients and soil fertility.

Another important factor of the agricultural revolution is the inventions of new and advanced agricultural tools such as threshing machines and seed drills. These inventions have not only increased the work efficiency but also maximized the crop production.

3. Enclosure Act:
Enclosure is considered one of the causes of British Agricultural Revolution. The concept of enclosed land increased the livestock production and crop yields. As a result of which, labor supply increased which also facilitated the industrial revolution.

4. Regional and National Markets:
The developments of regional and then national markets along with improved transportation infrastructures is also another important factor of agricultural revolution. Farmers became independent of local markets.

5. Increase in Livestock Yields:
Scientific breeding and more utilization of water meadows increased the yields of livestock which gave more hides, meat, milk and manure as well as better hay crops.
