1) Financial institution provides the security to finances of an individual in monitored and alarmed way.

2) Financial institutions like centralised banks, credit unions, commercialised and retail banks, investment banks etc provides many schemes like providing lockers, mortgaging , interest against deposits etc.

3) Self security is the way of providing safety for a secured future. Schemes like deposits, investments, interests gives a way of financial security.

4) Some other institution that provides self security is life insurance, mediclaim policy givers. Although they are also related to financial schemes but they provide security against treatment and life.
