Answer-

The possible turning point for the continuous function f(x) would be (0, -2)

Solution-

Hint- Turning point for a function can be determined by taking the concept of increasing and decreasing value of the function.

The value of f(x) decreases from x = -6 to x = 0 (∵8>2>0>-2), but from x = 0 it starts increasing (∵-2<-1<0<4)

Therefore, at x = -2 the function starts increasing, its slope becomes positive from negative. Hence, (0, –2) is the turning point of the given function.
