HC Verma all the way. It's the best.
I haven't even heard the name of that S. L. thing, and I've heard a bunch of good names.
NCERT's exercises are alright too.

Another piece of advice though - don't try to go for quantity, but quality. Solve only (if you've joined one) your coaching's material and not more than one or two good books.
