Let me tell u both are DAW.
Digital Audio Workstation.These r other names of step sequencers.

Cming back 2 ur question I l would prefer FL studio coz it's absolutely free in torrent.
The actual size is 35 GB.

U have got many plug-ins in it and u can use it offline whereas Ableton requires Internet connection.

FL studio.
