Which is better cold ice or cold water on burning and why ? Please reply

cool ice is much better....
since ice is melted and formed by melting or ice which involves latent heat.....
therefore ice is better on burning...

cold ice is better because it has higher heat capacity and therefore take in large amounts of heat without considerable rise in temperature
