Hey mate your answer is below

Answer:

12 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of rectangle = L

Breadth of rectangle = B

According to question:

L = 3B - 5 ....(1)

Perimeter = 14 metre

2(L + B) = 14

From equation (1)

2(3B - 5 + B) = 14

2(4B - 5) = 14

4B - 5 = 14/2

4B - 5 = 7

4B = 12

B = 12/4

B = 3 m

If B = 3 m then from equation (1)

L = 3B - 5

= (3 × 3) - 5

= 9 - 5

= 4 m

Area of rectangle

A = LB

= 4 m × 3 m

= 12 m²
