Which is easier and why :moving an object from rest, or to keep it moving when it is already in motion?

keep it moving when it is already moving is easier than moving an object from the rest because the interia takes place in moving an object from rest to motion

to keep to moving seems to be better option because in the first case i.e moving an object from rest needs an external force to start its motion..
while in 2nd case external force is only needed to stop the object..


hence , as per me 2nd case is easier...
