we check acidic strength of oxides by seeing the oxidation no. of central atom in that
Example : In NO2 NO3
The oxidation no. of N is +4 and +6 respectively.
so NO3 is more acidic.
Least acidic means more basic and the most basic oxide of N is N2O ( oxidation no. +1)
