which is more stable in aqueous solution mn2+, cr3+, v3+, fe2+ .... acc to me ans should be cr3+ as it has 3d3 config which is even more stable than mn2+ config of 3d5 but still ans is mn2+ how? plz help

Yup answer is Mn2+ .
U thought that 3d3 is half filled but it's not that case...
In P orbital there can be total of 6 electrons and hence its half filled is 3 but in d orbital there can be 10 electrons of total so its half filled state is 3d5
In Cr 3+ it has 3d3 configuration and hence is not half filled nd not much stable..
In Mn 2+, it has 3d5 configuration is found and hence is half filled and stable state.
Hope u got my point..
And if not inbox me.. I would explain it more briefly and easily.
Hope I helped you.

Answer:
your answer is correct. cr3+ is more stable than mn2+ in aqueous state.(but the opposite is true in non aqueous solution)
