Which is strongest - a single bond, a double bond or a triple bond between carbon atoms?

Triple bond would be the strongest bond as it has more and stronger forces of attraction between them. But 1 triple bond wont fulfill the requirement of carbon atom it then futher have to make 1 more bond to be stable.
