The Upper Krishna Project (UKP) is an irrigation plan across the Krishna River in order to provide water and spraying facilities to the drought-prone districts of Raichur, Bijapur, Bagalkot, Gulbarga, Yadgir regions in Karnataka state of north India.
The Upper Krishna project is the largest project which had been created by the Karnataka Government to water 1536,000 acres of land (6,220 km²).
