Bile juice contains bile salt that helps to emulsify fats, that is they break them down into small globules which are easily digested by the enzyme lipase present in the pancreatic juice.

DiyanaN: bile salt is the only enzyme in bile juice right?
anustarnoor: it is actually a mix
anustarnoor: but u can say
DiyanaN: and bile juice is not enzyme na?
DiyanaN: hmm
anustarnoor: it iss
vishagh: Bile juice do not contain any enzyme
PrincessManshi: that's right,,! bile juice doesn't contain any enzyme.. bile salt is just a component of bile juice like cholesterol and other inorganic salts..

Bile juice consists of  mucus, inorganic salts, cholesterol and bile salts. The bile salts emulsify fats and help enzymes enzymes like lipase to act upon fats. During emulsification, the bile salts are convert the bigger fat particles into smaller fat globules

DiyanaN: actually is it bile salt only the enzyme?
PrincessManshi: i think so.. coz there nothing other than bile salt in bile juice which takes part emulsification..
