"Synthetic is the fibre which is not advised to wear while cooking as it catches fire easily and melts on heating.
Synthetic fibres such as polyester also catch fire easily and after melting it sticks to the body of the person wearing it causing severe burns.
So it is advised to wear cotton clothes or apron while cooking food in the kitchen and also while working in the laboratory."
