As for the largest refinery in India, this tag belongs to Reliance Industries' (RIL) 33 MMTPA refinery in Jamnagar, Gujarat. RIL also has a 27 MMTPA export-only refinery in Jamnagar which is 2nd on the list. Rounding off the Top 3 is another Private sector refinery, Essar's 20 MMTPA refinery in Vadinar, Gujarat.
