The longest animal cells are Nerve cells. Just for some additional information I used the term NERVE CELL not neuron. They both differ from one another. All neurons which form nerve are known as nerve cells therefore they are also known as nerve cells but all neurons do not form nerve cells. So longest cell is Nerve cell and the longest nerve cell is Sciatic nerve which is 3 feet long.
