which is the most important part of the brain (fore, mid, hind) ?Why?

For my thinking it is hind brain as it contains pons cerebellum and medulla
where Medulla is control centres for respiration
cerebellum gives more additional space for many more neurons and pons consist of fibre tract which interconnect different region of brain
