Koenigsegg Agera RS is the current record holder for fastest production car.
It broke the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport WRE’s record a few days ago. On a stretch of closed road between Las Vegas and Pahrump, Nevada, the Agera RS achieved an average speed of 277.9 mph(447 kmph), eclipsing the Bugatti Veyron Supersport’s record of 267.81 mph(429 kmph). On one of its two runs, it touched 284 mph(458 kmph).
