• Make sure you take your time to fill in all the holes and voids on the face as you apply the paint before passing the second coat.
• Two coats are mandatory to ensure effective waterproofing.
• Follow the manufacturer's instructions to allow for dry time between coats.
• They simply do not have the “body” to fill vacancies.
• Some fillers can be used for both - dense enough to close the gap, and can be reduced to fill holes in the entire wood surface.
