Which is value is NOT a solution to the following inequality: -3(5x+12)<(1.5)x

A. -3
B. -2
C. -1

-3 ( 5x + 12) < 1.5x
=> - 15x - 36 < 1.5x
=> -13.5x < 36
=> x < - 360 / 135
=> x < -2.66
therefore, the correct option for the value not a solution to this is
A. -3

Ques. -3(5x+12) < (1.5)x

= -15x-36 < 1.5x

= -30x-72 < 3x

= -30x +30x -72 < 3x+30x

= -72 < 33x

= -72/33 < x or x > -72/33

= x > -2.18

Since x should always be greater than -2.18 so -3 can not be a solution for this inequality.
