There are a good handful of metals that can react with water but typically the bond in water between hydrogen and oxygen is more favorable than the body between oxygen and those metals. The group one and two metals are notorious for reacting with water. Group one metals are so violent that most of them cause the hydrogen gas to ignight and there's an explosion.
