Pure metals are unreactive in nature and don't combine with other compounds. Because they are so unreactive they don't corrode easily...

Dear Students,

● Answer -

Metals that do not corrode easily are gold, platinum, silver, palladium.

◆ Noble metals -

  • Noble metals are metals that are resistant to corrosion and oxidation in moist air.
  • For example, gold, platinum, silver, palladium.
  • These metals have very low reactivity and don't get attacked by moisture/acids.
  • Hence, they are used for jewellery and surgical instruments.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
