well , answer is National curriculum framework ,2000 { or NCF, 2000} recommended environmental studies to be taught as an integrated circular area at the primary level or stage.



for knowledge , there are four national curriculum framework are published till now.
NCF 1975 , NCF 1988, NCF2000 and NCF 2005. it is published by the national council of educational research and training { in short , NCERT } in India. National curriculum framework provides framework of making syllabii , textbooks and many works related to educational in India.

Even though the National Curriculum Committee on 1975 recommended that environmental studies be included as a single subject for primary level, they proposed environmental studies to be included as separate portion along with other subjects in various classes.

Following this path, it was the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2000 that recommended the Environmental studies to be included as an integrated course for the entire primary course.
